Annapolis is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Annapolis is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Maryland's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

There are moments when a simple errand transforms into a deeply curated experience, and my recent visit to this Paper Source was exactly that. I arrived with a very specific, personal vision in mind; a project that required a certain level of tactile elegance and intentionality. I had the absolute pleasure of being assisted by Elena, who is a true credit to the store. She didn’t just show me to an aisle; she took the time to truly listen to the 'resonance' of what I was trying to create. Elena’s recommendations were thoughtful, delicate, and perfectly aligned with the sophisticated aesthetic I was seeking. Her expertise turned a selection process into a personalized consultation, ensuring every element I walked away with felt like a deliberate choice rather than just a purchase. I walked out feeling inspired and exceptionally pleased with the quality of both the service and the collection. If you are looking for a place where your personal projects are treated with the grace and attention they deserve, ask for Elena. A truly magical experience.

Paper Source is such a dangerous store if you’re like me who’ll buy anything pretty and sparkly and fun whether you need it or not. I could spend hours and hundreds in here. They’re all so beautifully laid out and things are grouped perfectly so you’re mesmerised by everything. From games to books to pens to beautiful wrapping paper to cards and everything in between, I honestly could just walk around for a half day and be fascinated by it all. The girl at this location was helpful and friendly. Their stock is pretty well priced and parking wasn’t too hard. I will definitely come back and recommend it to anyone who loves nice trinkets and bits and bobs.

I usually love the paper source stores, and I spend a great deal of money every time I go. Usually, when I go to the paper source store in Carytown, VA: they are so helpful and kind. Well, not at this store. The salesperson was so rude, maybe that is just her personality, but she has no customer service. When customers are ready to buy things, or they want to look around, but they ask the salesperson to preserve the paper. It should be a thoughtful conclusion to help the customer. Instead, she had a heap of an attitude. Hopefully, her day gets better soon, and she doesn’t treat other customers like this. It comes off as condescending and just plain rude. I was going to buy other things but immediately left after this purchase because of how disruptive her attitude was to my experience.

Super friendly staff that's always helpful. They have classes for cheap if your looking for something to do or a way to get crafty. The sell many paper supplies for invitation design and offer design services. Also, the store has so many amazing other items that it's the perfect place to get a gift for anyone (at any age). Especially the one that's hard to shop for.
